About Sirens Sea Glass
Sirens Sea Glass Gallery is owned and operated by artist Julie Bunce, and is located on the second floor at 1169 Makawao Avenue. Sirens Sea Glass Gallery combines the feeling of a glass museum and fine art gallery . The full length of the gallery features floor to ceiling windows, allowing the Maui sunlight to spill through the gem-like colors of my mosaics that range from 3 inches high to 7 feet tall.
The entire space has a nautical feel, with swagging fishnets full of sea shells, and sea glass jewelry draped over shells and driftwood. Display cases feature historic bottles, glass fishing floats, and glass insulators that are the sources of some of Maui’s most beautiful sea glass colors. For Maui locals, it can be a walk down memory lane with old bottles from the Lahaina Ice Co. and Maui No Ka Oi Soda. Oftentimes you’ll find gallery owner Julie Bunce sitting barefoot in the corner sorting through piles of sea glass for her next vision.

Hi, Julie,
I have thought of you and your beautiful shop many times. I was in there last week and bought a necklace and earring. It was the end of the day and you were just finishing up from a phone call. You took the time to give me a history lesson on sea glass and shared the story of your mother making the beautiful cloth envelopes for the jewelry. I have a girlfriend that comes to Maui every January for a month. I told her about you and your shop and she said she has put you on her list of places to go when she returns. Your jewelry is beautiful and I feel priviledged to bring home part of Maui with me. I wish you the best. Mahalo and much Aloha, Bev Crawford
